The room darkening fabric lets in a small amount of light and there is no glare on TV/screens. It gives a strong sense of privacy as shapes and light are barely perceived from the outside.

Velvet has a luxurious character and can help glam up the look and style of a room but the soft material can also be used to create a cosy and relaxed space with a warm, comforting feel.

Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.

The VIDGA track rail system holds curtains with heading tape using gliders and hooks. By combining it with RIKTIG hooks, you can create an elegant curtain display. Thanks to its versatility, VIDGA can be mounted on either the wall or ceiling.

Using gliders and hooks usually creates a more formal and dressed-up feel, where hardware is not visible.

Choose from different lengths and colours to adapt to different window sizes and to create a coordinated look throughout your home.

Curtains can reduce solar heat and heat loss from draughty windows. For best results, hang them close to the window from floor to ceiling, and let them overlap the frame on the sides to minimise gaps.

• Room darkening fabricThe room darkening fabric lets in a small amount of daylight, when it is brighter outside and darkens the room. It prevents glare on TV's and digital screens. It gives you a strong sense of privacy as people cannot see in day or night. Silhouettes and light indoors are barely perceived.
• Cotton velvet like no otherThe unmatched softness and opulent feel of velvet, made from 100% cotton, bring a touch of elegance to any space. Its thick pile captures the light, revealing a rich depth of colour that enhances the room. Made with resilient cotton fibres and a tight weave, this velvet is both durable and resistant to pilling, ensuring it remains fresh and beautiful for years to come.
